Adopting a pet is a lifetime commitment... Respect, care for and love your pets, as they are not throwaways and they love you unconditionally. Also, the volunteers who so non-selfishly try to help the animals in need... do not need the added burden of your irresponsibilty if you decide to give up on your commitment. Plan ahead if you are forced to because of some terminal reason to give that animal companion up... Don't adopt if you can't plan long term!!

This site is here to find homes for "pet wanna-bes" mostly in the form of kitties, some dogs and other critters. It is also here to assist you, the potential guardian, find a purrfect match. If this were a PURRfect world, there would be no unwanted, no abandoned, and no abused and neglected animals. Unfortunately, we are not there yet, and therefore any outreach will help. Millions of cats and dogs are killed at the nation's shelters every year. PLEASE SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL SHELTER, AND GO THERE TO FIND YOUR FURRY COMPANION. Give an animal another chance for life, as MOST of them will be KILLED within a short time frame. Also, check with your local rescue groups, as they have volunteers who put in hours of love and care for pets in need to find a home. Please also remember to have your pet spayed and neutered  - for his or her longterm health and well being.
